Activating fastProject

Request a License Key

As part of activating fastProject, you need to request a license key. When received, please save this license key, as it can be used again if you change computers.

  1. Start fastProject/MS Project

  2. If fastProject starts on the “Start screen”, double-click Blank project to start a new project

  3. Click File > fastProject Info (see screen below). If you do not see fastProject Info, follow this link to debug any installation problems: https://lateralworks.com/tools/2025/4/22/debugging-fastproject-installation

  4. Click License Request to generate a unique code

  5. Use the Copy Button to copy and then send the code to contact@lateralworks.com

Activate fastProject

  1. On receipt of your license key, open fastProject

  2. Click File > fastProject Info (see screen below)

  3. Click Activate

  4. Enter (or paste) the license key
